Road trip 2024 Part 3

I started heading north on I-75 until I made my 1st stop in   

Chattanooga Tennessee.

Spent the day visiting a family member and her kids

Very nice areas and we took her kids on a tour around the city.

Had great day, the kids were tired by the end of the day's tour :)

The next day, I continued up I-75 to make my next stop Akron Ohio.

Found out that the laundry machine was broke and so I went into Akron to the a laundromat.

Which i did and ran into a nice lady that helped me with the use of the new system to use the machines.

Its been awhile since I used laundromats. You had to get a card to operate the machines.

I was able to get all my dirty clothes washed and had time to drive down to Canton Ohio to visit the Pro Football Hall of fame.

Wonderful experience learning about the history of football through the early days up to today. Walked outside to see the stadium right next door. I was amazed how small it looked as compared to on TV.

Great time and was very proud to see Seahawks and Buffalo Bills well represented there.

Had a great day and went back to the hotel for food and rest.

The next day, was to take a surprise visit to Rochester New York, to visit my brother and his family. and have a get together with our childhood neighborhood friends.

Also to honor my friend Jim Manley who two months prior past away too young.
